1. WHO WE ARE

MPS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LTD ("we", "us", "our") operates everstridesocksi.com (the "Store") under the brand name Everstride Compression Socks. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR") and the Data Protection Act 2018. 2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

a) Order and account data: name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number (if you provide it), the products you order, order history and your communications with us.
b) Payment data: payment is processed by our payment service providers through the checkout. We do not store your full card number.
c) Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page and the date and time of your visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
d) Marketing data: your email address and your marketing preferences, where you sign up to receive emails from us.

3. HOW AND WHY WE USE YOUR DATA, AND OUR LEGAL BASES

a) To process and deliver your order, handle payments, and manage refunds. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
b) To provide shipment tracking and order status updates. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
c) To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in responding to you.
d) To prevent fraud, secure the Store and keep records required by law, including tax and accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interests.
e) To send you marketing emails. Legal basis: your consent, or, where the law allows, our legitimate interests in marketing similar products to existing customers. You can opt out at any time.
f) To understand how the Store is used and to improve it. Legal basis: your consent for non-essential cookies, and our legitimate interests for strictly necessary operation.

4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above, with:
a) Shopify, which provides the platform on which the Store runs, including hosting, checkout and order management;
b) payment service providers that process your payment;
c) our supplier and carriers, which receive your name, delivery address and contact details so that your order can be shipped from China to you;
d) Wetracked, which we use for shipment tracking and email marketing;
e) professional advisers, authorities and courts, where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Your data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, including to China, where your order is dispatched, and to countries in which our service providers operate. Where we transfer data to a country without a UK adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by the UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

6. RETENTION

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by UK tax and company law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Customer support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any related claim.

7. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use the following:
a) Strictly necessary cookies set by the Shopify platform. These keep your cart, your session and the security of checkout working. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our systems, but you can block them in your browser, in which case the Store may not work properly.
b) Wetracked. We use Wetracked to provide shipment tracking information and to run email marketing. Its purpose is to show you the status of your delivery and to send you emails you have agreed to receive, and to measure whether those emails are opened and used. Where this involves non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we use them only with your consent.

How to refuse or withdraw consent:
a) use the cookie consent banner or settings in the Store, where shown, to accept or decline non-essential cookies, and change your choice at any time;
b) set your browser to block or delete cookies, following the instructions of your browser provider;
c) unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing contact@everstridesocksi.com.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
a) access your personal data;
b) have inaccurate data corrected;
c) have your data erased, in certain circumstances;
d) restrict our processing, in certain circumstances;
e) receive your data in a portable format, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means;
f) object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
g) withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any right, email contact@everstridesocksi.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity first. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

9. COMPLAINTS

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.

10. CHANGES

We may update this policy. The latest version is published on the Store with the date of the last update.
